The Edge district will be a distinctive mixed use district that completes the Historic Lafayette Square neighborhood. It will have apartments, townhouses, offices, restaurants and other retail. Soon it will also be just a few minutes from the new soccer stadium and the new National Geospacial Agency, both under construction.

The next branch of the city’s light rail system is planned to go right by the site.
